This NO PREP Week-Long unit is a FABULOUS way to cover Social Media Marketing and how effective Social Media advertising is for companies to promote their brands!

FOUR major social media applications are covered in VOLUME TWO – TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.

My students LOVED this unit!

There are links in each fillable Google Doc for students to access information needed to complete the activity. Because social media is blocked for most schools, I snipped the information needed in an additional link so that you will be successful in accessing the resource link that I provided if the others failed.

Students DISCOVER a bit about the history of the app. They then EXPLORE ways that each app offers advertising. Students then INVESTIGATE successful marketing campaigns that used social media advertising and had wildly successful campaigns.

After each of the social media activities are complete, students are prompted to recap what was learned and complete their own social media marketing campaign in a BONUS lesson of assessment and critical thinking!

The follow-up conversations with my students proved to be a valuable educational experience for all, including this teacher. 🙂
