Description
This Consumer Protection Federal Agencies digital activity is a great introduction to three federal agencies (FDA, FTC and CPSC) that are put in place for consumer protection. It is so important that students know their rights as consumers and that they know how the government has organized ways to assure that they are treated fairly. It’s also important that they know (as future entrepreneurs or business owners) what the law is so that they can do better for their customers.
Students are prompted to explore the FDA, FTC and CPSC. They discover information about the Clayton Act and they investigate the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
⭐Great a lesson for Business Law, Personal Finance, School Store, Family and Consumer Science (FACS), Introduction to Business, and Entrepreneurship class!⭐
