Description
Students are prompted to write a formal ‘love’ letter to their favorite small business in Google Docs. The lesson file includes 7 easy-to-follow steps that prompt the student to write a letter in block format using a Google Docs template (or from scratch) then address an envelope. I’m always surprised that my high school students have never addressed an envelope.
❤️A great NO PREP lesson for February and Valentines’ Day❤️….or ANYTIME! ✅
An important life skill lesson for your Computer Applications class! Also boosts involvement in your local business community and makes students appreciate small businesses.
The digital activity file is a Google Slide file that can easily be converted to Microsoft PowerPoint.
The easy-to-follow prompts on the slides are for Google Docs:
- Launch a template
- Format a letter
- Complete the body of the letter
- Change or remove the header bar
- Add a watermark
- Address an envelope
Because the lesson is self-guided, it is also perfect for a Sub Day or Remote Learning Day.
