High-Impact Leadership and Management Curriculum – Ready-to-Teach Resources

Leadership and Management Curriculum Resources

If you teach leadership, management, or any business class, you already know this…these classes matter. A lot!  Students don’t just learn concepts — they’re learning how to communicate, work with others, lead teams, and function in the real world. That’s a big responsibility, especially when you’re juggling the business teacher, multiple prep, lifestyle!

Ready-to-Use Leadership and Management Curriculum Resources

Over my 28 years years in the classroom, I taught Business Management, Leadership, and Business Communications many times.  I also taught 5, 6, and even 7 preps at once. So when I create curriculum, I’m always asking myself the same questions you probably are:

Will this actually work with teenagers?
Will this save me time?
Will students see the value in it?

That’s the lens behind all of my Leadership and Management curriculum resources. Plus, I always ALWAYS tie my lessons to careers!

A Full Semester Business Management Course (Done-for-You)

If you’re teaching a semester-long Business Management course, this is the resource I wish I had early in my career. My Business Management Course Curriculum Bundle is a complete, ready-to-use semester curriculum. It includes units on management functions, leadership styles, ethics, human resources, decision-making, and more — all aligned to national business standards.

What teachers tell me over and over is how much stress this removes. You don’t have to figure out pacing, what comes next, or whether you’re covering enough. It’s all laid out, with teacher keys included. This is especially helpful if Business Management is a newer prep for you or if you’re teaching it alongside several other courses.

Business Communications: Teaching the Soft Skills Employers Want

Communication soft skills are one of the biggest gaps employers talk about — and students don’t always realize how important these skills are until they’re in the workforce. That’s why I created my Business Communications Semester Course.

This course focuses on real, practical soft skills: active listening, professional writing, workplace communication, teamwork, and employment communication. It’s flexible enough to work for middle school or high school and fits nicely into Business Communications, Career Readiness, or Intro to Business classes.

Teachers often tell me they love the real-world projects and how engaged students are. It’s not busywork — students see how these skills connect to jobs they actually want.

Leadership & Management Soft Skills Bundle

Sometimes you don’t need an entire course — you need strong lessons you can plug in when teaching leadership or management concepts. The Leadership Business Management Bundle is exactly that.

This bundle includes digital, low-prep lessons on leadership qualities, leadership styles, teamwork, communication, and empathy. These lessons work well on their own or alongside a larger unit. Many teachers like using the movie clip and scenario-based activities because they spark discussion and help students make connections.

It’s one of those resources you can keep coming back to year after year.

Individual Leadership Lessons

I also offer individual leadership lessons when you want to zoom in on a specific soft skill:

  • Leadership Qualities Lesson – Helps students identify and reflect on what makes an effective leader

  • Leadership & Empathy Connection – A student favorite that explores how empathy impacts leadership and teamwork

  • Leadership and Management Styles Lesson – Breaks down autocratic, democratic, and laissez-faire leadership with real examples using Hollywood movies.

These are great for filling gaps, supplementing units, or using on days when you want meaningful learning without heavy prep.

Why Teachers Keep Using These Resources

The common theme across all of these materials is real-world application. Students aren’t just memorizing definitions — they’re practicing skills they’ll actually use. And from a teacher standpoint, everything is designed to be organized, flexible, and realistic for busy classrooms.

If you’re teaching leadership or management and want resources that feel practical, student-friendly, and teacher-tested, these were built with you in mind.
