This Halloween Accounting Mini-Simulation project-based learning (PBL) digital activity is a GREAT way to ASSESS Accounting students on General Journal and Multi-Column Journal and Account Classifications.  This resource is a summative assessment and ties in everything learned from the beginning of the course to Recording Journal Entries.

Students will do the following for a Halloween Haunted House concession stand:

  • Purchase equipment
  • Purchase supplies
  • Organize accounts in account classifications
  • Determine the cost of menu items after mark-up
  • Record daily journal transactions
