This NO PREP DIGITAL ACTIVITY is a perfect way to review CHART OF ACCOUNTS for any Accounting 1 or Accounting 2 class before Christmas break!

Students classify accounts as assets, liabilities, and owner’s equity. After they classify, they create a Chart of Accounts for Santa Claus. An example of a Chart of Accounts is given for students to reference as it may have been a while since they saw a Chart of Accounts.

As with all of your activities, this one was also great! I loved how we could review the Chart of Accounts and classification of accounts in a fun way before the holiday break. Students really enjoyed it. They were intuitive when they would ask me what to do about revenue since Santa doesn’t actually “sell” anything! Thank you for this great resource!! 🙂

This was a fun way to review chart of account building right before Christmas. It really got my students thinking and analyzing information in a fun way. They My favorite answer was that “Santa doesn’t have SALES”. I also loved that I could export this right to Google Drive as well.
