My Holiday Consumer Spending Habits digital activity makes a great survival lesson before the Christmas/Winter break. Print and Hang the students’ artifacts to make a super easy bulletin board/classroom décor. This lesson is a great life-saver and time-saver during a time when our students really need engagement in order to learn valuable business education content!

Students are introduced to eight different reasons why people buy. Then they are prompted to reflect by choosing items that may be purchased using various buying trends and phenomena and fill Santa’s sleigh full of gifts that would be bought based on those reasons why people buy.  This is also an excellent way to display student artifacts of learning in your classroom!

Great Critical Thinking while still being Fun and Engaging! Your students will appreciate the opportunity to be creative.  I loved hearing the banter as students were doing this activity!
