My Google Sheets Spreadsheets Business Doc Templates digital resource is an excellent way for students to familiarize themselves with business document templates offered using Google Sheets. This analysis is recommended before you complete any templates to give students an opportunity to assess important document templates and discover their purpose, functions, and use in common business transactions.

Students complete a table that prompts them to open: Purchase Order, Invoice, Annual Budget, Financial Statements, and Weekly Time-sheet templates in Google Sheets. They are then prompted to ANALYZE each template for purpose and functions. Students then EXPLORE the personal templates to ASSESS a template that they would find usual in their personal life. Finally, students are given a business scenario and students decide what template would be best used for that function and purpose.

This is a great discovery activity that takes students about 20 minutes to 40 minutes to complete. This digital activity flawlessly sends to all learning management systems as it is a Google Doc.
