Over my 28 year teaching career I compiled a list of Basic Business Terms and Office Jargon that students need to know when entering the workforce. When I was surprised that a student had never heard a phrase or term, I wrote it down and made this list.
This is a great lesson to do at the beginning of a school year or first week of a semester to get students thinking about business right from the jump. Also, great for a Sub Day!

Students research the terms on the web, then report to the class. I would have my students work in groups.
